Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Tricentis Tosca to support quality engineering initiatives across our insurance platforms. This role will focus on model-based test automation, ensuring high-quality delivery across policy administration, claims, and digital systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test assets using Tricentis Tosca, leveraging model-based testing principles.
- Build and manage reusable modules, test cases, and test case design (TCD) structures to enable scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.
- Automate end-to-end testing across web, user interface, API, and desktop applications within insurance ecosystems.
- Utilize Tosca tools such as API Scan, TestCase Design, and Distributed Execution (DEX) to optimize test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand functional requirements and define test strategies.
- Apply Tosca Query Language (TQL) for advanced test asset management and reporting.
- Leverage advanced scanning technologies such as Vision AI and API Scan to handle dynamic object identification challenges in complex or unstable environments.
- Analyze test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and continuously improve automation stability and coverage.
- Contribute to CI/CD integration and support continuous testing practices across delivery pipelines.
- Ensure alignment with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in insurance technology delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca, including model-based test automation.
- Proficiency in building reusable automation components (modules, TCD, and test cases).
- Experience in testing web services and APIs (REST/SOAP) using Tosca.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON, and XML for object identification and API validation.
- Experience with TQL and Tosca advanced features such as DEX and Vision AI.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile delivery models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with insurance platforms (policy administration, claims, and billing systems such as Guidewire or Majesco).
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.) and test integration pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS).
- Understanding of prompt engineering is a plus.
- Tosca certification is a plus.
