Description

SAIC is seeking Senior Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Digital Solutions Office (DSO) at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in the acceleration of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption across INSCOM by integrating AI-enabled capabilities and building an AI-ready workforce. The DSO deploys secure, scalable AI solutions and partners with INSCOM staff, MSCs, and strategic stakeholders to deliver data driven decision advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform project management of efforts within the Digital Solutions Office (DSO), tracking the status of assigned projects, initiatives, and deliverables, and providing regular updates to ensure informed decision-making and timely execution.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and administrative projects assigned, including benchmarking AI adoption requirements and best practices, and preparing briefing materials to support senior leader engagements and decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality written and verbal communications, including presentations, briefings, and project status updates, to effectively convey complex concepts and program information to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Develop and update programmatic documentation, including white papers, information papers, capability requirements, and related materials, ensuring accuracy, currency, and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Work under only general direction. Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.


Qualifications

Required Education:
  • Bachelors degree and five (5) years or more related experience; Masters and two (3) years or more experience; PhD or JD and zero (0) years or more experience.


Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with Intelligence programs.


Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with Army Intelligence programs.
  • Experience working with the Army, Joint, and National Intelligence community.
  • Knowledge and experience in program systems engineering, program management, or requirements development.
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence, data architecture, data dissemination, and information security planning.
  • Experience with evaluating commercial and government solution procurements and maintenance renewals.
  • Experience with dashboards and power platform tools.
  • Ability to work at both the conceptual level and with program leads, customers, and internal teams to ensure the successful development, integration, and deployment of solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills for working with senior leadership and external customers.


Clearance:
  • Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with CI Poly.


Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
