Description

SAIC is currently hiring a System Engineer at Ft Belvoir, VA.

Job Duties:
  • Support the modernization and integration of the Intelligence Foundation layer aligning sensors, data, and analytics with command requirements of the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) needed to execute Multi-Domain Intelligence.
  • Maintain responsibility for assessment and estimation of gap analysis, requirements, development, test, and deployment of products and systems.
  • Work closely with customers, senior leadership within programs, and other systems engineers and development engineers to comprehend customer objectives and requirements and develop solutions from the conceptual stage through delivery and field deployment.
  • Comprehend customer objectives, CONOPS, and requirements and translate those requirements into an executable development plan.
  • Responsible for overseeing system definition and implementation in support of an overall system architecture for the Army Intelligence Enterprise Architecture.

Travel:
  • Must be able to travel up to 15- 20%


Qualifications

Required Education:
  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with Intelligence programs.
  • Desired experience with Army Intelligence programs.
  • Desired experience with the Army Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) platforms or technologies targeted for the High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES)
  • Experience working with the Intelligence community
  • Experience with one or more of the following: software development, hardware development, or mission support
  • Experience with evaluating engineering proposals and ROMs
  • Desired experience with systems engineering, program management, or requirements development
  • Knowledge of some or all the following: data architecture, data dissemination, and information security planning
  • Desired experience with network engineering/operations
  • Desired previous experience in all source intelligence, signals intelligence, or geospatial intelligence.
  • Ability to work at the conceptual level and with program leads, customers, and internal teams to ensure successful system development, integration, and deployment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills for working with senior leadership and external customers

Clearance:
  • Candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a Poly. (Clearance must be listed and active in DISS.)


Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
