Payments ACH Solutions Engineer
Job Location: Charlotte, NC(Onsite)

**AAP certification or equivalent depth of ACH experience is strongly preferred**

Job Must-Haves:
Significant experience within banking, financial services, or payments.
Deep understanding of the ACH network and ACH transaction lifecycle.
Strong understanding of ODFI and RDFI responsibilities.
Experience with ACH operations, payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, returns, exceptions, and risk management.
Strong working knowledge of Nacha Operating Rules and applicable banking regulations.

Job Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with Federal Reserve payment services or comparable payment-network connectivity.
Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification.
Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP) certification.

About the Position / Current Initiatives:
The role is responsible for supporting the business and technical transformation program to establish direct ACH capabilities as an Originating Depository Financial Institution (ODFI) and Receiving Depository Financial Institution (RDFI).

The role will bridge work associated between Retail Payments, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and external payment-network partners as the Bank transitions from a correspondent-bank model to direct connectivity with the Federal Reserve’s ACH infrastructure.
