SAP Payroll Consultant Lead (LATAM / S/4HANA)

job summary:

Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced SAP Payroll Consultant Lead to support complex SAP HCM environments focusing on LATAM regions (Mexico, Costa Rica, and Peru). In this role, you will lead functional design, system configuration, PCR/schema updates, and testing across SAP Time Management and S/4HANA CATS implementations.

responsibilities:

• Lead system design, application build, and configuration for SAP Time-Management and Payroll solutions.
• Modify and optimize PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules) and schemas for time evaluation and payroll processing.
• Deliver support, break/fix solutions, and minor enhancements for LATAM regional payroll systems (covering local tax, benefit, and vacation requirements).
• Develop unit test scripts in HPALM and support business users through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Implement and manage CATS (Positive & Negative time) in SAP S/4HANA environments.

qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.

5-8 years of direct experience with SAP Time-Management and SAP Payroll.

Hands-on expertise writing and tuning PCRs and schemas.

Proven track record of 5+ full-cycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA with CATS.

Specialized technical knowledge of SAP HCM Payroll localizations for Mexico, Costa Rica, and/or Peru.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Hands-on testing experience utilizing HPALM for test suite execution and documentation.

Experience working within global client matrix environments or consulting teams.
