Looking for Site Support Technician - Brisbane

The organisation operates complex, technology-driven mining environments and relies on highly available Operational Technology (OT) and IT systems to maintain safe, reliable and efficient production.
This is an opportunity to work within a collaborative technology operations environment supporting business-critical systems across major mining assets.
Your New Role:
As a Priority Support Specialist (Level 1.5), you will join the Technology Remote Operations Centre (TROC) based in Brisbane. The team operates 24x7 on a Sportsman Roster, with a combination of day and night shifts.
Shifts are 12.5 hours, including handover.
You will monitor, manage and resolve incidents affecting safety and production-critical OT systems while working closely with operational teams, Level 2 and Level 3 support teams, vendors and technical specialists.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Proactively monitoring production-critical IT/OT systems and responding to system events and faults.
Troubleshooting and restoring system availability in a structured and timely manner.
Taking ownership of critical incidents and driving them through to resolution.
Collaborating with dispatch, control teams, technical support teams, vendors and operational personnel.
Performing planned maintenance activities and scheduled software installations.
Supporting minor system improvement activities.
Conducting regular checks of backup facilities to support business continuity.
Reviewing root causes of incidents and working with relevant teams to improve system reliability.
Identifying potential risks and applying appropriate controls to minimise service and production impacts.
Supporting integrated operations and production services across mining assets.
What you will need to succeed:
Mining, resources or industrial environments.
Remote-site process control or operational technology support.
Fleet Management Systems.
Operational support of mission-critical services.
Production-critical IT/OT environments.
