Compensation: $35 - $42 per hour

Associate Software Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Associate Software Engineer specialized/has interest in front-end development to join a fast-paced team focused on developing modern web and mobile applications. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer with strong JavaScript and React experience who is excited to build user-facing applications and contribute to innovative projects leveraging AI-powered development tools.

You will work closely with senior engineers and technical leaders while supporting a growing React Native initiative. Success in this role requires strong technical fundamentals, curiosity, self-motivation, and the ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly evolving technology environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain front-end applications using React and TypeScript

Contribute to mobile application development efforts utilizing React Native

Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on performance and usability

Collaborate with engineers, technical leads, and product stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle

Participate in code reviews and team discussions to continuously improve code quality

Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and accelerate delivery

Troubleshoot bugs, optimize application performance, and implement enhancements

Learn and adopt new technologies and development practices as business needs evolve

Required Qualifications

1-3 years of software engineering experience

Strong proficiency in JavaScript

Experience developing applications using React

Familiarity with TypeScript

Understanding of front-end development best practices, including component-based architecture and responsive design

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and work independently

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to or experience with React Native

Experience developing mobile applications for iOS or Android platforms

Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar technologies

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS

Experience working in Agile development environments
