Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC is seeking a System Administrator to support the U.S. Space Force's Critical Satellite Communications (C-SAR) mission in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

In this role, you will help ensure the reliability, performance, and readiness of mission-critical systems that support MILSATCOM operations around the globe. This is an opportunity to work directly with cutting-edge satellite command and control technologies in a highly collaborative environment where your contributions have a direct impact on national security and space operations.

Location: CCS-C Satellite System at Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs, CO.

Clearance: At a minimum, Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance. What You'll Bring

  • Required Qualifications
  • At a minimum, Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Current Security+ certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II), or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience supporting MILSATCOM operations, satellite command and control systems, or a related developmental/operational environment preferred
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of interacting with organizations internally and externally that consist of groups of operators, developers, engineers, testers and product vendors.
  • Must be able to articulate technical concepts verbally and in written forms both internally to the team as well as externally to the customer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in any of these areas is beneficial: Unix, Linux, Oracle Database, Access Database. IMDS, Active Directory, Cactus and Vsphere, however, training will be provided as needed.
  • Knowledge of Satellite Systems Operations.
  • Two to four years of experience in a MILSATCOM developmental or operational environment or Satellite Command and Control systems experience, is desired.
  • Ability to comprehend new information in a dynamic environment.
  • Be able to apply and communicate learned knowledge.

  • Maintain domain file servers, archive file servers, live operational network access, and document and analyze system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment and system performance.
  • Establish and maintain operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for C2 computer systems.
  • Monitor and prepare system for operational use.
  • Support operational testing.
