The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier global manufacturing organization specializing in advanced surface treatments and specialized coatings for the automotive sector to identify an accomplished Quality Assurance Manager. Based at a high-volume manufacturing facility in Cleveland, OH, this critical leadership role oversees site-wide quality standards, reinforces regulatory compliance, and elevates client satisfaction across a sophisticated production environment. As the primary quality ambassador, you will synchronize efforts between Operations, Process Engineering, Research And Development, and Account Management to champion systemic excellence, drive continuous improvement, and manage rigorous audit initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Champion the optimization and execution of the site Quality Management System to ensure continuous alignment with global industry benchmarks.

  • Embed precise compliance benchmarks into the core product realization and manufacturing cycles.

  • Synthesize client-specific criteria, supplier guidelines, and international benchmarks into unified operational workflows.

  • Evaluate and broadcast key performance indicators regarding plant-wide quality performance.

  • Drive thorough investigations into product non-conformance, customer complaints, and Supplier Corrective Action Requests, ensuring root-cause resolution.

  • Architect sustainable mitigation strategies to eliminate recurring manufacturing discrepancies and optimize production yields.

  • Execute data-driven enhancements to boost operational throughput, mitigate material waste, and lower the cost of poor quality.

  • Direct the comprehensive plant internal audit schedule and oversee the document control architecture.

  • Facilitate external compliance evaluations, client inspections, and vendor quality assessments.

  • Optimize and maintain foundational technical data platforms, including SAP Systems, LIMS Platforms, and ETQ Reliance Solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Process Engineering, Technical Operations, and client-facing business units to maximize first-time-right capabilities.

  • Govern the site-level Management Of Change protocols and evaluate quality readiness for novel product introductions.

  • Cultivate a proactive mindset focused on individual accountability, providing plant-wide mentorship, education, and instructional leadership.

  • Authorize high-stakes decisions including final product releases, engineering change approvals, and non-conforming material disposition.

What You Bring

  • Possess a Bachelor''s degree or higher in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely aligned technical field.

  • Demonstrate 5+ years of dedicated leadership experience within high-precision manufacturing, specifically tailored to Automotive Manufacturing or advanced production sectors.

  • Showcase 3+ years of direct People Management or team leadership experience, guiding technical professionals.

  • Hold an active Certified Lead Auditor credential, with deep exposure to International Automotive Task Force Standards or Verband Der Automobilindustrie Standards.

  • Possess a minimum of a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

  • Exhibit mastery over foundational manufacturing methodologies, specifically Failure Mode And Effects Analysis, Statistical Process Control, Control Plans, and Advanced Product Quality Planning.

  • Refine and maintain comprehensive Quality Management Systems while incorporating highly specific client demands.

  • Display a proven track record resolving sophisticated technical anomalies using Root Cause Analysis and executing Supplier Corrective Action Requests.

  • Utilize and troubleshoot modern enterprise systems such as SAP Systems, LIMS Platforms, and ETQ Reliance Software.

  • Communicate with exceptional clarity, showcasing advanced written and verbal proficiency in English Technical Writing.

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Base Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 annualized

  • Performance Incentive: 10% annual bonus

  • Benefits: Excellent benefits package
