Senior QA Automation Engineer (TypeScript & Playwright)

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Test Engineering.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience designing and building automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Experience with Appium (or equivalent) for mobile automation across iOS and Android, including real-device testing and debugging.
• Experience testing applications across Web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Strong understanding of automation framework architecture and test design.
• Experience with API testing using Postman, REST-based tools, or similar technologies.
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases).
• Experience integrating automated testing into Jenkins or other CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Experience with Java automation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software testing tools.
• Experience building automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Experience mentoring QA engineers or leading quality initiatives.
