Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne/ Hybrid Working Available + Field Based Days out 
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 + Bonus Scheme

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

The Role

We’re expanding our Newcastle team and looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a permanent desk. This is a role for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing the full recruitment cycle, and wants a clear path into leadership as the business continues to grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

Building Client Partnerships: Meet clients in person and over the phone to understand their needs and develop long‑term relationships.

Finding Great Talent: Proactively source candidates with the right skills and experience for permanent roles.

Managing the Full Process: Handle everything from terms of business and interviews through to offers and placements.

Delivering Quality: Provide a high‑standard service that encourages repeat business and strong referrals.

Supporting Others: Offer guidance to junior colleagues as the team grows.

Maintaining Standards: Ensure compliance and service delivery remain consistently high.

Safeguarding & Professional Compliance:

Ensure client and candidate safeguarding procedures are followed in all interactions.

Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Assist in handling NMC referrals, liaising with the NMC and relevant parties as required.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding, NMC standards, and relevant healthcare regulations

Solid experience in recruitment with proven billing success.

Knowledge of permanent recruitment processes.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.

Confidence in business development and commercial decision‑making.

Ambition, resilience, and a target‑focused mindset.

Healthcare Sector experience Essential.
