Role: Senior Business Analyst Location: Birmingham (Flexible Hybrid – 2 Days In-Office Weekly)<br />Salary: £45,000 - £56,000<br />Contract:

Fixed-Term (12-Months)<br />Network IT are supporting a major transformation programme within a Higher Education environment, focused on aligning IT Services with strategic objectives and delivering innovative business analysis solutions.

We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide expert analysis and drive improvements across complex organisational processes.<br />Role Overview and Responsibilities<br />As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping business change initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and objectives.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and facilitating access to subject matter experts. Your responsibilities will include:

Building strong, strategic relationships across departments and managing stakeholder expectations.<br />Leading workshops and visioning sessions to support strategic thinking and IT alignment.<br />Analysing and documenting As-Is processes and designing To-Be processes to enable effective change.<br />Applying best-practice business analysis techniques, including requirements elicitation, stakeholder mapping, and options appraisal.<br />Supporting organisational readiness for change and ensuring benefits realisation.<br />Promoting innovation by identifying new opportunities, methods, and technologies.<br />Maintaining high standards of communication and collaboration across all levels of the organisation.Essential Skills and Experience<br />To succeed in this role, you should bring:

Proven experience in business analysis within complex organisations, ideally Higher Education.<br />Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.<br />Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.<br />Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.<br />Experience with process improvement, organisational change, and benefits realisation.<br />Familiarity with delivery approaches such as Waterfall and Agile.<br />Degree and/or professional qualification in Business Analysis or equivalent experience.Desirable Skills Exposure to user experience analysis and modelling techniques.<br />Understanding of financial, cultural, and technological factors influencing change.<br />Ability to champion a Business Analysis Centre of Excellence
