Our client seeks a Business Analyst who will own requirements end to end. The role will elicit, document, and manage requirements through user stories and acceptance criteria, maintain traceability to build objects and test cases, run change control, and secure stakeholder signoffs at stage gates. The analyst will also reconcile disparate requirement sources into a master registry and lead standardization across regional performance management teams.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Elicit requirements from stakeholders and write user stories with acceptance criteria for the development team.
  • Create materials to analyze and explain requirements from a user experience perspective.
  • Create and update process maps, Excel tables, PowerPoint slides, and related artifacts to capture requirements thoroughly and accurately.
  • Translate high-level needs into detailed, testable, clear, and unambiguous requirements.
  • Maintain a requirements traceability matrix linking each requirement to build objects and test cases.
  • Run change control and assess scope and timeline impact before backlog intake.
  • Confirm feasibility, including configuration versus custom build, with technical leads.
  • Obtain business signoffs at key stage gates.
  • Inventory all existing requirement sources to identify gaps and clarify existing requirements.
  • Contribute to the creation of a master requirements registry and flag conflicts or duplicates for resolution.
  • Document current state across regional performance management teams, including timing, processes, roles, forms, and dashboards.
  • Lead cross-regional sessions to drive alignment and standardization.
  • Develop documentation to explain current-state differences and impacts.
  • Define an aligned future state with business SMEs and document it in process flows and requirements.

Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst.
  • Experience writing requirements for waterfall and agile custom development.
  • Proficiency designing process flows in Microsoft Visio.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, shifting environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and strong critical thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.
  • Ability to build trust with diverse business SMEs.
  • Experience collaborating with global stakeholders across US, European, and Asia-Pacific time zones.
  • Ability to work independently and own deliverables to completion.
  • Prior consulting experience is a plus.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to complex problems.
  • Strong learning agility and ability to ramp quickly.
