Department Head of Fresh Counter | Itzehoe, Germany | On-site

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Department Head to lead the fresh counter operations within a leading German food retailer. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction, fostering a positive team environment, and driving sales through excellent product presentation and service.

The Role

  • Lead and develop a dedicated team, acting as a role model and implementing national sales concepts.
  • Ensure exceptional product presentation, freshness, and adherence to hygiene standards.
  • Engage customers with appealing displays, expert advice, and outstanding service.
  • Independently implement sales-promoting initiatives and ideas.
  • Manage costs, revenue, inventory, pricing, and product flow effectively.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training, preferably in food retail, or prior specialized and leadership experience in baked goods or fresh counter sections.
