job summary:

The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking an experienced User Activity Monitor (UAM) Engineer to support the HEITS Contract under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Insider Threat Program (ITP). In this position, you will maintain, optimize, and expand the UAM platform infrastructure to identify risks and safeguard critical homeland security operations.

responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead updates, maintenance, configurations, deployments, and sustainment of the User Activity Monitor (UAM) software.
• Address and resolve enterprise-wide monitoring coverage gaps.
• Assist security analysts with custom platform configurations, feed updates, and tool enhancements.
• Maintain accurate system baseline documentation and present briefings to key customer stakeholders.
• Assist with customer-directed training and support the personnel development certification program.

qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Active Top Secret (TS) clearance, or TS clearance held within the last 2 years, with SCI eligibility.

Hands-on experience with EverFox or similar User Activity Monitoring (UAM) products and platforms within the past 2 years.

Proven background in developing technical documentation, analyses, reports, and customer briefings.

Ability to work 100% onsite in Lorton, VA.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in IT Management, Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in IT service delivery management.

Hands-on experience with EverFox or similar High Speed Guard Platforms.
