Job Description

IT Healthcare Consultant – Project Manager – Consultant
Columbia, SC - ONSITE
12 Months

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams providing production support, helpdesk, interface/EDI support, stakeholder monitoring, and UAT.
  • Manage incidents, issues, tickets, escalations, documentation, tracking, and timely resolution of production problems.
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, SSA, and other security requirements and track findings/recommendations through completion.
  • Lead release management, stakeholder communications, implementation readiness, pre-deployment planning, and post-implementation monitoring.
  • Support change management, backlog grooming, prioritization, and approval-gate compliance.
  • Assign and oversee team workload and provide guidance across frontline, technical, vendor, and executive stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or healthcare field5+ years equivalent business/systems analysis or computer systems development/modification experience may substitute.
  • 3+ years managing system operations and/or administrative program functions in a healthcare environment.
  • 5+ years of project/program management experience managing system implementations or enhancements.
  • Ability to provide on-call and after-hours incident management/support.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing operations of Medicaid Enterprise Systems.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, and MMIS domain concepts.
  • Experience with ticketing software.
  • Experience developing SOPs for new system implementations.
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills.
  • AWS Cloud Certification(s).
