Job Description

Role: AWS Architect Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia Experience: 13+ yrs Must Have Experience:

Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant solutions on AWS
Translate business and technical requirements into robust cloud architectures
Lead cloud strategy, migration, and modernization initiatives
Select appropriate AWS services (compute, storage, database, networking, security)
Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework (security, reliability, performance, cost)
Define architecture standards, guidelines, and reusable patterns
Conduct architecture reviews (HLD/LLD) and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models into applications
Ensure data security, governance, and ethical AI usage
Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API integration
Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes preferred)
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and automation tools
Strong hands on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, CloudFormation

Good to Have experience:

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience in cloud migration and modernization
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
Architect solutions leveraging AI/ML services (Amazon SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Design GenAI-based use cases such as:
RAG-based solutions
AI agents / automation workflows
NLP / document intelligence solutions
