Graduate Project Manager
The Role
At @one Alliance, we bring together eight leading organisations to deliver Anglian Waters capital investment programme across the East of England. Together, were delivering projects to help protect and improve one of the UKs most important resources water.
As a Graduate Project Manager, youll be part of this exciting programme from the start, gaining hands-on experience of Process Engineering across major infrastructure projects.
Youll work alongside experienced Project Management professionals building your knowledge, developing your skills and working towards a successful career in Project Management.
Youll be supported throughout your development, with opportunities to build your technical knowledge, gain professional experience and work towards your longer-term career goals.
We welcome applications from candidates outside the region who are willing and able to relocate or travel to Peterborough and the East Anglia Region.
As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to attend a number of assessment centres taking place on the following dates: 20th November, 11th December, 6th January, 8th January, 11th January, 15th January, and 18th January.
Should you be successful in your application, please ensure that you are available to attend all these dates, as participation in the assessment centres forms an essential part of the selection process.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
- Assist in managing project scope, schedule, risks, costs, and resources
- Monitor project progress and produce reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Support health, safety, and environmental compliance across all project phases
- Attend site visits, design reviews, and construction meetings to gain end-to-end project insight
About you
Essential
- A 2:2 degree or above in Business Studies or Project Management
- Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives
- Water/ Construction industry knowledge
- To be able to work in an open and collaborative way practice integrated working with all Alliance teams and the client
- Apply rigour to key projects and tasks that require accurate and timely delivery and decision making
- The ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines
- A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
- An interest in infrastructure, construction or the built environment
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites across our region
