Position Overview
  • Role: World Languages Content Manager & Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Location: Nashville, TN (37243)
  • Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
  • Interview Process: Phone or In-Person

Key Highlights & Core Responsibilities

  • Rubrics & Materials Evaluation: Design, maintain, and review evaluation tools and rubrics for World Languages instructional materials aligned with educational standards.
  • Advisory Panel Leadership: Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection criteria, training, and facilitation for educator advisory panels.
  • Instructional Guidance: Develop instructional focus documents and support the implementation of World Languages standards statewide.
  • Professional Learning: Build and present training materials, workshops, and technical assistance for district leaders and teachers.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, stakeholder communications, and key deliverables.

Key Skills Required

Must-Have:
 
  • World Languages Expertise | Deep knowledge of K-12 standards, pedagogy, and curriculum design.
  • Instructional Development | Hands-on experience building educational resources, guidance docs, and rubrics.
  • Facilitation & Training | Proven background delivering workshops and training sessions to educational leaders.
  • Project Management | Ability to handle multiple project deliverables, timelines, and diverse workgroups independently.
Preferred:
 
  • Advanced Degree (Master's or higher) in Education, World Languages, or Curriculum & Instruction.
  • Experience with large-scale or state-level educational initiatives and committee leadership.

Education Requirements

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in World Languages, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Linguistics, or related field.
