Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite, Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM ET
Contract Duration: 3-6 months

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer to join a Learning & Development team within a large enterprise organization. This individual will design and develop engaging digital learning experiences, training materials, and multimedia content.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline and Rise, along with experience developing video and multimedia learning content. Experience leveraging AI/Generative AI tools to accelerate content development and create engaging learning experiences is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive eLearning and training content using Articulate Storyline and Rise


• Create multimedia learning materials using Vyond and other video editing/development tools


• Utilize AI and Generative AI tools to enhance learning content and improve development efficiency


• Develop creative learning scenarios, personas, videos, and other digital training experiences


• Partner with stakeholders to understand learning needs and translate requirements into effective training solutions


• Collaborate with Learning & Development team members throughout the design and development process


• Incorporate feedback and make adjustments to learning materials as needed


• Manage projects and deliverables independently while balancing multiple priorities


• Take initiative and proactively move projects forward

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline


• Proven hands-on experience with Articulate Rise


• Strong instructional design and eLearning development experience


• Experience with Vyond or similar video editing/content creation tools


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills


• Ability to effectively receive and incorporate feedback


• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills


• Self-directed with the ability to take initiative and work with limited oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using AI/Generative AI tools for instructional design, content creation, or video development


• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud


• Experience developing multimedia and video-based learning content


• Master's degree in Instructional Design


• Technical or software development background

Work Environment

This position requires working onsite five days per week in Charlotte, NC. The environment is collaborative and team-oriented while also requiring someone who can take ownership of their work and operate independently.
