Retail IT Support Technician

KARM Stores seeks an IT Technician to support our Christ-centered, mission-driven thrift-store ministry across East Tennessee. In this role, you'll provide hands-on technical support for store and office staff, ensuring POS systems, computers, printers, mobile devices, and networks run smoothly. You'll troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, maintain basic network equipment, manage user accounts, and document work. You'll travel to local stores as needed, train staff on technology use, and help keep systems reliable so KARM can serve the homeless and community effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for store and office staff
• Install, configure, and maintain POS systems, computers, printers, and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across multiple retail locations
• Monitor and maintain Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and basic network equipment
• Support user account management, access permissions, and basic security best practices
• Document issues, solutions, and system inventory in an organized, timely manner
• Coordinate with vendors and external IT partners when escalations are needed
• Train staff on basic technology use, systems, and safe computing practices
• Support technology used for donations processing, inventory, and reporting
• Uphold KARM's Christ-centered, mission-driven culture in daily work and interactions
