Senior Business Analyst
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to join the Global Markets Technology group. This role involves performing complex functional and data product analysis, applying expertise in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new functionality for multiple complex applications. The ideal candidate will manage business deliverables with minimal oversight, working directly with key business partners to handle initiative and BAU requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex functional and data product analysis.
• Apply knowledge in the design, development, testing, and implementation of new functionality for complex applications.
• Manage business deliverables with minimal oversight and direction.
• Work directly with key business partners to manage initiative and BAU requirements.
• Interface and build working relationships with senior-level Business Stakeholders, Technology Managers, and support teams.
• Provide oversight and guidance to more junior business and technical analysts.
• Support a large number of global data feeds and datasets from broker/dealers.
• Handle and resolve regulator inquiries within specified timeframes.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of experience in business analysis, including systems analysis, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL for data analysis activities. Experience with Agile methodology, process flow, and creating stories, epics, and deliverables. Knowledge of MS Office applications is required. Subject matter expertise in Markets, Investment and Trade Surveillance, and Compliance with project management experience. Extensive background in SQL development to support complex queries.
Professional Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills are required to work with senior business and technology executives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to produce high-quality, clear business-friendly design specifications. A strong appreciation of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Ability to support a large number of global data feeds from broker/dealers.
Preferred Qualifications

• Scrum Master certification is a plus.
