QA Analyst

Required Experience & Education

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with strong expertise in functional, automation, and API testing.
• Proven experience performing both manual and automated testing across enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience developing and executing automated tests using Katalon.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.
• Practical experience testing RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices using Postman.
• Experience performing database validation and data integrity testing using SQL.
• Proficiency in creating test scenarios, executing test cases, documenting results, and managing defects throughout the QA lifecycle.
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), quality assurance processes, and industry-standard testing methodologies.

Expected Deliverables

• Test Case Development: Create comprehensive and well-structured test scenarios and test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing requirements.
• Automation Development: Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon and other applicable automation frameworks.
• Test Execution: Perform functional, automated, API, and database testing; analyze results and ensure defects are identified and addressed promptly.
• Defect Management: Document, track, and validate defects while collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Test Documentation: Maintain accurate test evidence, execution reports, automation results, and QA documentation throughout the testing lifecycle.
