Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python Engineer to support the development and modernization of enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Snowflake, dbt, and Dremio, along with hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing code repositories in Azure DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Python.
• Build and optimize data pipelines leveraging Snowflake and cloud-based technologies.
• Develop data transformation models and business logic using dbt.
• Work with Dremio for data virtualization, query acceleration, and analytics enablement.
• Develop automated data validation and reconciliation processes.
• Write complex SQL queries for data analysis, transformation, and performance optimization.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data platform deployments.
• Manage source code, branching strategies, and release processes using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and data teams to deliver data solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills

• Strong Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Experience developing and managing dbt models, tests, deployments, and documentation.
• Experience working with Dremio.
• Advanced SQL development skills.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps repositories and Git.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures.

• Strong Investment Domain knowledge.
• Prior experience supporting Asset Management, Investment Management, Wealth Management, or Capital Markets organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Python Development.
• Proven experience with Snowflake, dbt, and modern cloud data platforms.
•  Experience working in Investment Management or Capital Markets environments
