The Gund Company is growing and has an opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to join our people-first culture!

HR Generalist
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist who will report to the Regional Human Resources Business Partner and serve as a key support resource for both plant operations and corporate HR initiatives. In this role, you will help create positive employee experience by handling employee relations matters, supporting workplace investigations, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring consistent application of company policies and practices across the site.

What You'll Do

  • Manage employee relations cases from intake through resolution with clear documentation and follow-up.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and help ensure a smooth start for new hires.
  • Support plant operations with day-to-day HR guidance while collaborating with corporate HR on programs, processes, and compliance priorities.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
  • Conduct workplace investigations involving policy, conduct, attendance, or related employee concerns.
  • Partner with plant leaders to address attendance and timekeeping issues and support corrective action processes.

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three or more years of HR experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, workplace investigations, and HR compliance practices.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and judgment when handling confidential matters.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
