Job Description:

We are looking for a Sr. BA with at least 7+ years of IT experience and Healthcare domain experience. This resource must have QNXT experience.

 

Summary:

The Sr. Business Analyst will support Health's Enrollment Services organization, focusing on inbound membership and eligibility transactions during a large-scale implementation initiative supporting the integration of Medicaid and Commercial lines of business.
This individual will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, operations teams, vendors, and IT to ensure enrollment data is received, validated, processed, and maintained accurately.

 

Desired Experience:

5+ years of Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst experience within a Healthcare Payer environment.
Strong experience supporting member enrollment and eligibility operations.
Extensive experience with EDI 834 enrollment transactions and understanding of 820 transactions.
Experience gathering business requirements, documenting processes, creating functional specifications, and driving end-to-end project delivery.

Experience working in QNXT strongly preferred.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to evaluate people, process, and technology impacts when recommending solutions.

Strong SQL skills with the ability to:
- Write and execute complex queries
- Perform table joins
- Analyze inbound enrollment data
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies

Advanced experience using:
SQL
MS Excel
MS Access
Visio
MS Project

 

Job Responsibilities include:
Analyze inbound enrollment and eligibility files from trading partners and vendors.
Work extensively with EDI 834 transactions and enrollment-related data.
Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
Create process maps, data flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
Perform root cause analysis and data investigations.
Utilize SQL to analyze enrollment data and troubleshoot system issues.
Evaluate operational and technical risks.
Manage work requests received through shared mailboxes and inventory management tools.
Partner with business and IT teams on implementation and enhancement projects.
Identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvements.
Create performance reporting and business analytics.
Support testing, implementation, and validation activities for system changes.
Participate in Agile and SDLC project activities.
