Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with 11+ years of experience to lead requirements gathering, process improvement, and stakeholder management initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving strategic decision-making across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis activities including requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation for large-scale enterprise initiatives
• Partner with senior stakeholders, product owners, and executive leadership to define business objectives and translate them into functional/technical requirements
• Develop and maintain business requirement documents (BRD), functional specification documents (FSD), use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams
• Facilitate JAD sessions, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements
• Conduct gap analysis, root cause analysis, and impact assessments for proposed system/process changes
• Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and QA to ensure solutions align with business requirements
• Support UAT planning and execution, including test case development and defect triaging
• Create data flow diagrams, wireframes, and process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously using Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies
• Mentor junior business analysts and provide guidance on best practices
• Prepare and present executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations to leadership
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives leveraging Lean/Six Sigma principles (if applicable)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 11+ years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in [industry — e.g., Banking/Healthcare/Insurance/Retail]
• Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
• Proficiency with requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Rally)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SQL for data analysis
• Proven experience creating BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and process documentation
• Strong understanding of SDLC and system integration concepts
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or CSPO are a plus
