AI Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking a AI Architect (Generative AI & Agentic Systems) for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
In this role, you will lead the vision, design, and deployment of enterprise-grade AI infrastructure and scalable machine learning systems. You will design, build, and scale production-grade LLM applications, leveraging modern agentic frameworks and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to power intelligent enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end AI/ML technical architectures, including model training, orchestration, inference, and continuous evaluation pipelines
• Architect and scale advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including custom chunking, hybrid search, and reranking mechanisms
• Develop complex, stateful multi-agent systems and autonomous workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph and Deepagents
• Utilize LangChain for robust LLM integration and LangSmith for tracing, evaluation, debugging, and performance monitoring of production LLM pipelines
• Establish enterprise MLOps frameworks to automate model monitoring, data drift detection, re-training, and version control
• Partner with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to align technical solutions with enterprise goals
• Mentor senior software engineers, data scientists, and ML developers on technical best practices and architectural standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
• 8+ years in software development and data architecture, with at least 3-4 years in dedicated AI/ML engineering or system design roles
• Advanced, production-level proficiency in Python (asyncio, design patterns, profiling, and testing)
• Demonstrated hands-on production experience with orchestration and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or Deepagents
• Deep working knowledge of RAG pipelines, prompt engineering strategies, and integration with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Qdrant, or pgvector)
• Deep proficiency with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, and LlamaIndex
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS (SageMaker), Azure ML, or Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of distributed computing (Spark, Ray) and hardware acceleration (CUDA, ROCm)
• Familiarity with major LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models) and function-calling/tool-use architectures
• Strong technical communication skills to explain complex AI paradigms to stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams

Pay range: $74.51 - $82.51 per hour
