Senior AI Engineer Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) & Python

Overview / Summary

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer with 3 5 years of relevant experience in developing AI-powered applications, intelligent programs, and automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), along with knowledge of AI technologies, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and machine learning.

This role focuses on developing AI-powered solutions that integrate Google LLMs with BigQuery data, build intelligent AI agents for root cause analysis, maintain investigation context across sessions, and deliver explainable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand business requirements and develop AI algorithms, models, and applications to solve complex problems.
  • Develop AI-powered solutions to generate recommendations, identify patterns, make predictions, interpret sensor data, and enable automation.
  • Perform large-scale experimentation and develop data-driven applications that transform data into actionable insights.
  • Design and develop AI solutions using Generative AI, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Image Processing, Cognitive Automation, Intelligent Process Automation, and Reinforcement Learning.
  • Research and optimize AI technologies to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data analysis and automation.
  • Develop AI agents capable of generating and executing BigQuery SQL queries.
  • Build AI-powered agents and multi-step reasoning workflows for root cause analysis.
  • Develop investigation memory models to retain relevant information across sessions.
  • Build APIs that support user-facing applications.
  • Implement logging, traceability, and governance mechanisms for AI-powered systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Python.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Coding and software development skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Tekton or Jenkins.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Run and BigQuery.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with Test-First Development, Test-Driven Development (TDD), MVP, and Evolutionary Design.
  • Basic understanding of Machine Learning.
