Job Summary:
The IS Manager, Connected Incubation Hub, leads a cross-functional team responsible for rapidly exploring,validating, and delivering emerging technology capabilities that improve recruiting, selling, talent, and enterprise operations across Allegis Group and its operating companies.
This roleoperatesat the intersection of AI, data science, recommendations, product, architecture, and business workflows. The IS Manager turns ambiguous opportunities into evidence-based experiments, proofs of value, pilots, and clear scale or stop recommendations across multiple enterprise technology platforms.
The role partners closely with Business, Product, UX, Architecture, Engineering, Data, Legal, Security, AI governance, TPRM, and strategic vendors. The IS Manager is accountable for portfolio movement, team leadership, stakeholder alignment, experiment measurement, responsible AI practices, and successful handoff of validated capabilities.
The IS Manager is responsible for:
- Leading a portfolio of AI, data science, recommendation, search, automation, agentic AI, generative AI, conversational AI, and voice AI experiments across recruiter and seller experiences.
- Supporting and driving business problems from hypotheses, research plans, technical discovery, prototypes, experiments, pilots, and measurable success criteria.
- Partnering with Product and UX to define user needs, prioritize opportunities, coordinate showcases and research, and incorporate feedback into experiment decisions.
- Partnering with Architecture and Engineering to evaluate feasibility, integration patterns, scalability, supportability, performance, and paths to production.
- Coordinating governance with Legal, Security, Privacy, AI COE, Compliance, and TPRM to support responsible, auditable, and policy-aligned experimentation.
- Driving initiative movement from intake and discovery through proof of concept, experiment, pilot, handoff, documentation, and scale or sunset recommendations.
- Contributing and advising metrics for adoption, quality, accuracy, latency, efficiency, experience, cost, business impact, and operational readiness.
- Managing strategic technology and vendor relationships, including workshops, evaluations, commitments, costs, and outcomes.
Responsibilities
Essential Fucntions:
- Lead multiple cross-functional initiatives in parallel, aligning scope, capacity, timing, dependencies, and enterprise priorities.
- Facilitate problem framing, hypothesis development, experiment planning, decision making, and stakeholder alignment.
- Guide teams in building and testing working solutions across cloud, CRM, data, search, AI, API, and user-experience layers.
- Remove delivery roadblocks,identifyrisks early, create mitigation plans, and escalate issues affecting outcomes.
- Ensure experiments include user feedback loops, instrumentation, measurement, documentation, and exit criteria.
- Present findings, tradeoffs, recommendations, and investment implications to technical, business, and executive audiences.
- Promote reusable patterns and clear knowledge transfer for transition to product, platform, architecture, or delivery teams.
- Championcontinuous improvement in experimentation, software delivery, data quality, responsible AI, and cross-functional ways of working.
Supervisory or Management Responsibility:
- Act as Coach-Leader, coaching others in their development as leaders, catalyzing the growth of people?s capacity to embrace greater complexity, and focus on helping others formulate their development agenda
- Assistin team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work;leveragingorganizational resources to improve capacity for feature work; and mentoring team members
- Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of quality for the team
- Management responsibility for the teams, including hiring, leadership,developmentand accountability for performance.
- Establish operational/teamobjectivesand goals.
Budget Responsibility:
- Develops and manages budget
- Produces monthly forecasts
- Approves operational expenditures
- Plans capacity fluctuations based on roadmap of features
Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- BA or BS or equivalent experience is required
- Experienceleading development teams- preferred managed
- Experience delivering capabilities through Agile, iterative, product, or experimentation-based methods.
- Experience with enterprise-scale applications, cloud platforms, data products, AI or machine learning capabilities, or comparable emerging technologies.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives across business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience translating ambiguous business problems into executable plans, measurable outcomes, and executive-ready recommendations.
- Experience with Salesforce, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS, Elastic, Snowflake, or similar enterprise platforms.
Skills/Abilities:
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary development efforts and ensureobjectives, goals, and commitments are met
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect technology investments to user needs and measurable business value
- Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing or ambiguous demands
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels, including the executive level
- Experience managing large budgets and finances
- Prior Experience in the Staffing Industry ? a plus
- Prior Technical / Development / Product experience ? a plus

Office Requirements:
- Required in office out of our headquarter in Hanover, MD 4 days a week
Salary Range:
- $116,600-$197,796
- This position is bonus eligible
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
