Senior Application / Production Support Analyst – Child Welfare / PATH NC

Location -

Senior Application / Production Support Analyst – Child Welfare / PATH NC

We are hiring a Senior Application/Production Support professional to support the Child Welfare/PATH NC application.

The ideal candidate will have strong application troubleshooting, production support, customer service, and analytical skills, with experience supporting complex browser-based applications. North Carolina Child Welfare / Social Services experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced application/production support for complex county and agency issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve high-severity and cross-county application problems.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Identify and escalate critical application or infrastructure issues.
  • Partner with Business Owners, Developers, QA, Architecture, and agency stakeholders.
  • Reproduce, isolate, and document complex defects and performance issues.
  • Recommend process and system improvements to reduce recurring issues.
  • Support system change requests and communicate impacts, risks, and solutions.
  • Mentor junior support team members and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Serve as a liaison between business teams, technical teams, county leadership, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience with browser-based applications
  • 7+ years researching, analyzing, and interpreting automated system problems
  • 6+ years of Application Support / Production Support or application-focused Help Desk experience
  • 7+ years of phone-based customer service with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and customer service skills

Highly Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience with Social Services / Child Welfare programs
  • Experience with North Carolina Child Welfare
  • Knowledge of PATH NC application and functionality

Important: This is an application support role, not a hardware support role. Candidates should have strong experience troubleshooting software applications and production issues.
