Job Title: .NET Core Solution Architect Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced .NET Core Solution Architect with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain expertise to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of .NET Core technologies, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and insurance business processes, while serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders, onshore teams, offshore development teams, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, Web APIs, Microservices, and cloud platforms.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, onshore teams, offshore delivery teams, and technical leadership to ensure successful project execution.
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and insurance SMEs to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide architecture leadership for P&C Insurance applications including Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, and Customer Portals.
Define solution architecture, integration patterns, data models, and technology roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards.
Lead technical design reviews, architecture governance, and solution validation activities.
Drive cloud adoption and modernization initiatives leveraging Azure, AWS, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
Facilitate communication across geographically distributed teams and ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies while ensuring adherence to security and compliance requirements.
Mentor development teams and establish best practices for software engineering, architecture, performance optimization, and code quality.
Support Agile delivery processes, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management activities.
Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to provide project status updates, architecture recommendations, and strategic guidance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of software development experience with at least 5+ years in Solution Architecture roles.
Extensive experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.
Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain experience.
Experience working with Policy Administration, Claims Management, Underwriting, Billing, or Insurance Digital Platforms.
Proven experience coordinating offshore and onshore teams in global delivery environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.
Knowledge of architecture frameworks, design patterns, security standards, and enterprise integration strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or other insurance platforms.
Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect).
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools.
Agile/Scrum certification and experience leading distributed Agile teams.
