Simulation Developer with Security Clearance

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an onsite Simulation Developer to join a team developing next-generation modeling in Quantico, VA. This role is ideal for a software engineer with experience building simulation environments, game-based systems, or virtual training platforms who wants to contribute to high-impact national security programs. Responsibilities of the Simulation Developer Includes:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced modeling and simulation applications supporting defense missions.
• Build and integrate simulation capabilities within larger mission and system architectures.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operational subject matter experts to improve simulation fidelity and performance.
• Develop new features, perform testing and validation, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Support interoperability, mission-focused testing efforts, technical documentation, and stakeholder coordination activities. Qualifications of the Simulation Developer Includes:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years of software development experience focused on modeling, simulation, gaming, or virtual environments
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, Java, or other programming languages
• Experience with simulation or game development platforms such as AFSIM, Unity, Unreal Engine, Simio, or Arena
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems and collaborative development practices
• Must be able to pass a government background check and hold an active TS/SCI US Government clearance Compensation of the Simulation Developer Includes:
• Salary range: $150,000 - 160,000 (based on experience)
