Oracle PL/SQL Developer with Security Clearance

Position Description: We are seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), a large scale Oracle E Business Suite (EBS) federal financial management environment hosted in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role focuses on developing PL/SQL packages, views, extraction routines, and rule processing logic essential to posting logic analysis, crosswalk generation, compliance validation support, and data feeds used by cloud native services and analytics platforms.

The developer will work closely with architects, DBA staff, validation engineers, and financial functional teams. This position is remote and can be located anywhere in the Continental US. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, views, and extraction scripts supporting financial posting logic, SLA/AutoAccounting/Account Generator rule analysis, and machine readable crosswalk generation. . Implement data transformation logic required to normalize, structure, and export Oracle EBS financial configuration and transaction metadata. .

Create optimized SQL and PL/SQL queries to support compliance validation services, RCA workflows, and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) data models. . Support database integrations with OCI Object Storage, including generating output artifacts in JSON/CSV/XML formats and enabling downstream consumption. . Collaborate with the DBA team to support indexing, performance tuning, environment synchronization, and efficient query execution across modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, PO, OM&S). .

Work with DevSecOps engineers to integrate PL/SQL code into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring version control, automated testing, and governed deployments. . Assist functional SMEs and architects with posting logic investigations, derivation analysis, exception identification, and traceability. . Produce technical documentation, database design artifacts, and support evidence required for audit and compliance reviews. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 5+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience in enterprise or ERP environments. .

Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL development best practices, performance tuning, and complex data modeling. . Familiarity with creating structured data outputs (JSON/CSV/XML) and interacting with cloud storage services. . Ability to work with DBAs, cloud engineers, and analysts to troubleshoot queries, optimize performance, and improve reliability. . Ability to obtain/maintain IT II Non Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) investigation suitability. Desired qualifications/non essential skills required: .

Experience with Oracle EBS (Financials preferred), especially SLA, AutoAccounting, and accounting event structures. . Experience with OCI based systems, Object Storage integration, or external table configurations (DBMS_CLOUD). . Understanding of federal financial structures (USSGL, SFIS/SLOA), or experience supporting audit focused financial applications. . Experience with DevSecOps practices including CI/CD and automated PL/SQL testing frameworks. . Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, especially in complex ERP/financial data environments. .

Clear communication and collaboration skills across functional and technical teams. . Structured, detail oriented, and comfortable operating within compliance driven federal programs. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $176,300.00.
