About the Role

As an experienced Talent Lead, you will shape Suncorp’s enterprise approach to talent management, succession and leadership pipelines using your knowledge of best practice. You will consult with leaders to understand business needs, assess talent risks and find practical solutions.

Working across Organisational Development, the broader People team and the enterprise, you will connect talent decisions with leadership, capability and performance outcomes. You will quickly build trusted relationships with executives and provide clear advice on potential, readiness, development and succession.

What You'll Do

• Design and improve talent, succession and assessment frameworks that support fair and evidence-based decisions.
• Partner with executives and senior leaders to understand needs and develop practical talent solutions.
• Build leadership pipelines aligned with future capability requirements, business priorities and succession needs.
• Provide clear talent insights and recommendations to executive audiences and governance forums.
• Connect talent initiatives with broader Organisational Development and People priorities.
• Manage external providers and specialists to improve quality, value and outcomes.

What You'll Bring

• At least three to five years’ experience in executive talent management within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary methods for assessing potential, capability, readiness and development priorities.
• Experience designing or delivering enterprise talent management, succession or leadership pipeline initiatives.
• Demonstrated consulting skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with executives quickly.
• Confidence using talent data and assessment outcomes to support evidence-based decisions.
• A collaborative approach, commercial judgement and the ability to move quickly across broad stakeholder groups.
