The Opportunity

As our Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will be a trusted strategic adviser to hiring managers, divisional leaders and the broader People and Culture team, shaping how we find and win the right people from sourcing through to onboarding.

This is an initial 24-month max-term contract, open to candidates anywhere in Australia, with a preference for Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Your role, your contribution!

  • Partner with hiring managers and divisional leaders as a trusted adviser, using market insight and an understanding of workforce needs to shape hiring approaches.

  • Proactively source and build strong talent pipelines, using direct search, networking and AI-enabled tools to engage passive talent before roles are even open.

  • Develop and execute attraction and sourcing strategies tailored to each part of your portfolio.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from screening through to offer management and onboarding, delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.

  • Provide reporting and analytics that turn data into clear recommendations to support business decision-making.

  • Embrace AI and emerging technology to work smarter, using it to streamline recruitment processes, enhance candidate engagement and generate deeper talent insights.

  • Coach and mentor stakeholders and team members, and lead and support talent acquisition projects, including EVP and capability development.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in recruitment within professional services or financial services, with a track record of proactive sourcing and building talent pipelines.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior stakeholders and act as a credible, strategic talent adviser who influences hiring decisions.

  • Expertise in proactive sourcing techniques and confident use of AI tools to enhance sourcing and candidate engagement.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking and candidate management systems, and a sound understanding of compliance and talent acquisition fundamentals.

  • Experience in EVP and TA marketing campaigns is highly regarded.

  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
