Senior Manager, Data Engineering

Discount Tire is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering to lead the design and delivery of scalable data platforms that power analytics and decision-making across our nationwide retail operations. You will guide a team of data engineers in building robust batch and real-time pipelines, data models, and warehouses that support reporting, forecasting, and customer insights. Partnering closely with analytics, IT, and business leaders, you will define standards, champion cloud-based architectures, and ensure data quality, security, and reliability. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers delivering scalable data platforms and pipelines
• Design, build, and optimize batch and real-time ETL/ELT workflows for retail data sources
• Partner with analytics, IT, and business leaders to define data requirements and solutions
• Establish data engineering standards, best practices, and governance for quality and reliability
• Optimize data models and warehouses to support reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics
• Drive cloud-based data architecture and modern tooling adoption for performance and scalability
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance within Discount Tire's data ecosystem
• Plan and prioritize the data engineering roadmap, projects, and capacity
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical data solutions
• Support a culture of continuous improvement, documentation, and knowledge sharing
