Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and other healthcare professionals.

  • Source candidates through online job boards, social media, nursing schools, referrals, and community outreach.

  • Conduct initial candidate screenings, interviews, and qualification assessments.

  • Coordinate the hiring process, including onboarding, credential verification, and employment documentation.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to support current and future staffing needs.

  • Establish relationships with nursing schools, vocational programs, and community organizations to develop recruitment opportunities.

Staffing & Care Coordination

  • Coordinate nursing assignments based on patient needs, staff qualifications, availability, and geographic location.

  • Communicate with field nurses regarding schedules, assignments, and staffing updates.

  • Assist with filling open shifts and maintaining consistent patient coverage.

  • Develop positive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors and management to address staffing challenges.

  • Support new patient admissions by identifying and coordinating appropriate nursing personnel.

Employee Relations & Retention

  • Maintain ongoing communication with field staff to encourage engagement and employee satisfaction.

  • Assist with resolving scheduling concerns and staffing-related issues.

  • Identify opportunities to improve employee retention and recruitment efficiency.

  • Provide professional, responsive communication to employees, applicants, and patient families.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required.

  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, customer-service-oriented approach.

  • Proficiency with computers, email, Microsoft Office, and online recruitment platforms.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in healthcare recruitment, staffing, scheduling, or human resources.

  • Experience working with a home health agency, private duty nursing provider, or healthcare staffing organization.

  • Knowledge of LVN and RN licensing requirements and nursing credentials.

  • Familiarity with private duty nursing, shift care, and patient staffing coordination.

  • Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure is a plus but not required.

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
