Network Engineer, Lead | Chula Vista, CA, United States | Hybrid

The Role

  • Design and architect network solutions to meet evolving mission requirements for government clients.
  • Develop and evaluate technical solutions, architecture designs, and migration plans for enterprise networks.
  • Provide Tier III network support, troubleshooting and resolving complex operational issues to ensure network stability.
  • Analyze network performance and implement automated configuration management solutions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and operations SMEs to align network strategies with organizational goals.
  • Plan and oversee the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Proven ability to deliver network engineering artifacts such as templates, configuration guides, and diagrams.
  • Solid understanding of L2-L4 networking protocols.
  • Ability to travel OCONUS up to 30% of the time.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Security+ and Cisco Certified Network Certification (CCNA or CCNP).
  • Secret clearance is required.
