Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Program / Project Manager to support a major $260M Control Center project, including approximately $30M in IT and technology-related work. The project includes construction of a brand-new 20,000-square-foot facility, implementation, and integration of approximately 55 technology systems, and coordination of the IT activities required to support the planned move into the new facility around November 2027. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and aligning IT and technology activities with the overall facility and program delivery.

This is not a Construction Manager position. The primary focus is program/project management of the IT and technology workstream within a major new-building project.

Responsibilities:
Manage the IT and technology workstream within the overall Control Center program.
Coordinate approximately $30M of IT-related scope with the broader $260M project.
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and status reporting.
Coordinate IT activities with construction, facilities, engineering, network, security, vendors, and other project teams.
Manage the implementation and integration of approximately 55 technology systems.
Coordinate IT infrastructure activities involving routers, switches, network connectivity, and related technologies.
Ensure technology deployment, testing, integration, commissioning, and operational readiness remain aligned with the overall project schedule.
Identify and manage dependencies between building construction and IT/technology implementation.
Coordinate vendors and technology partners supporting the project.
Track project progress, risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, and corrective actions.
Provide regular status reporting to program leadership and key stakeholders.
Support planning and execution leading to the targeted November 2027 facility move.
Requirements:
Senior-level experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager managing complex, large-scale projects.
Experience managing IT/technology activities within new construction, new building, facility, or major infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and networking, including routers, switches, network connectivity, and related technologies.
Experience coordinating multiple technology systems, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, risk management, issue management, dependency management, and stakeholder communication.
Ability to work effectively across IT, facilities, engineering, construction, vendors, and business teams.
Excellent communication, organizational, and executive reporting skills.
Willingness and ability to work 3 days onsite in Melville, NY, and 2 days remotely each week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Control Centers, Operations Centers, Command Centers, Data Centers, or other mission-critical facilities.
Experience managing large capital programs with significant IT/technology components.
Experience coordinating technology implementation through testing, commissioning, operational readiness, and facility transition.
Utility or energy industry experience.
Experience managing programs with $100M+ overall project value.
