Purpose of role 

We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Fund Accounting Manager to join our growing Belfast team. You will lead the delivery of high-quality fund accounting and financial reporting services across a portfolio of alternative investment structures, acting as a trusted partner to clients and key stakeholders.

Combining technical expertise with strong leadership skills, you will drive operational excellence, support team development and play an important role in the continued growth and success of the business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery and review of fund accounting, management accounts and financial statements, ensuring high-quality, accurate and timely reporting for a portfolio of clients.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, auditors and advisers, acting as a trusted point of contact and delivering a proactive, value-added service.
  • Oversee day-to-day fund operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, service quality and client outcomes, while supporting business growth opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning and high performance.

    ​​​​​​Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
    • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and UK GAAP.
    • Proven experience in fund accounting, financial reporting or alternative investment structures.
    • Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to apply accounting standards pragmatically and effectively.
