System Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a System Engineer with experience in product development, SDLC, AWS cloud services, programming, DevOps, and system requirements engineering. The role involves supporting requirements documentation, traceability, regulatory compliance, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. The engineer will coordinate with R&D, QA, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Clinical, and Marketing teams. This position also serves as the primary interface between onsite customer teams and offshore delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Support product development and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Work with AWS services, including ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, EC2, IAM, SSM, and CloudWatch.
• Develop and support solutions using C#, Python, REST APIs, and ORM.
• Support frontend development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Support DevOps and CI/CD using Docker, Git, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Jenkins.
• Work with PostgreSQL, including data and ETL understanding.
• Develop and maintain System Requirements Specifications (SyRS) and Product Requirements Documents (PRD).
• Ensure requirements traceability using a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Support regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Drive issue resolution, design reviews, and decision-making.
• Coordinate between onsite customer teams and offshore delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Product Development and SDLC.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Experience with C#, Python, REST APIs, and ORM.
• Frontend development knowledge: HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps/CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, data, and ETL concepts.
• Experience with SyRS, PRD, and RTM.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Cross-functional collaboration and issue resolution experience.

Work Requirements

• Onsite work in Hazelwood, Missouri.
• Collaboration with R&D (HW/SW/Systems), QA, RA, Manufacturing & Supply Chain, and Clinical & Marketing teams.
• Coordination between onsite customer and offshore delivery teams.
