Position Summary:

Title: AI Engineer 

Duration: Long Term

Location: Washington, DC 20433

Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon.

Job Description:
Seeking an AI Engineer with strong expertise in Python, APIs, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and RAG-based solutions. The role centers on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, agentic AI (including Azure AI Agent Service and Model Context Protocol), and enterprise-grade service delivery across Azure and AWS.

Key Skills:

• Strong Python development experience
• Hands-on with RAG (chunking, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation)
• Experience with MCP/tool integration & API development
• Azure OpenAI & Azure AI Search (vector/hybrid search)
• Building secure, production-grade AI/chatbot solutions

Experience:

• 3-5 years total software development experience.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI and Azure AI/Search.
• Practical experience with agent frameworks and MCP/tool-use patterns.
• Experience in building solutions leveraging Agentic AI.
