Job Description

Job Title:PCB Design Engineer

Location: Germantown, MD

Basic Requirements:
Ability to manage multiple priorities and own product development timelines while maintaining focus on the details that matter.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, iterative development environments.
5+ years of experience in an engineering setting. Some exposure to mechanical design & analysis, testing, and electronics. A solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials. Bonus points for experience in manufacturing.
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other STEM discipline.
Skilled with CAD (Creo, SolidWorks or Fusion 360) and engineering analysis tools (FEA, CFD, etc.), confident validating your designs and explaining the results to others.
Exposure to GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis for production-ready designs.
Experience conducting performance tests, generating results and presenting them to technical and non-technical groups.
You re a good communicator, comfortable working across disciplines and turning collaboration into results.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electronic board assembly design, including mechanical integration, mounting strategies, and thermal management solutions .
Working knowledge of electronics design across chip-level, package-level, and board-level integration.
Familiarity with RF, EMI/EMC considerations in hardware design
Background in manufacturing environments and production scaling.
Knowledge of supply chain, production processes, and lifecycle management.
Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
