About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Revenue Services Manager to join our Corporate Services team.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving revenue generation and recovery activities across the business, including invoicing, asset damage recovery, debt management, and collections. You will lead a high-performing team, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory obligations, Delegations of Authority (DOA), Segregation of Duties (SOD), and financial control frameworks.

We're seeking an experienced people leader with a strong background in complex debt recovery, collections, credit management, and stakeholder engagement. You'll bring strong problem-solving skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence outcomes across a diverse stakeholder group.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Recoverable Works revenue, including asset damage investigations and collections.
  • Own the debt recovery strategy across the entire business' portfolio, such as asset damage, minor works, augmentation and other revenue streams.
  • Ensure revenue services activities comply with internal policies, regulatory obligations, DOA, SOD, and financial control frameworks.
  • Own credit risk management activities, including new retailer credit assessments, network credit support arrangements, and bad debt write-offs, in accordance with DOA.
  • Ensure accurate, complete and timely record-keeping and audit trails within financial systems to support audit, risk, and assurance requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholder groups to support effective revenue generation and recovery outcomes.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership of the team including workload management, resource planning and operational oversight.
  • Promote a high-performing, collaborative team culture and build strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
What you'll need from day one
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or significant equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and / or legislative requirements relating to revenue services functions.
  • Knowledge of and prior experience in negotiating settlements for debt balances across a broad range of customers.
  • Hands-on experience working across revenue services functions, such as; revenue generation, collections / credit risk and accounts receivable.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role relative to revenue services functions.
