The Role

  • Develop and maintain program-specific documentation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and program managers to translate technical data into user-friendly content.
  • Support document coordination, including scheduling, feedback tracking, and version control.
  • Edit and proofread documents for clarity, consistency, grammar, and technical accuracy.
  • Be responsible for quality assurance of all program-related written materials.
  • Travel up to 10% to support program reviews and industry teammates.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical writing or proposal writing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information according to government standards.
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD documentation standards and Department of War technical publication practices.
