At Strohwig, we don't build ordinary parts. We manufacture large, complex precision components for the aerospace, defense, energy, and other demanding industries where accuracy, craftsmanship, and attention to detail matter.

We're looking for an experienced Senior CNC Machinist to independently set up, operate, and program our large gantry CNC machining centers while producing high-precision components from start to finish. If you enjoy challenging setups, large workpieces, and seeing your craftsmanship come to life, this is the role for you.

Our machinists don't spend their days loading the same production part. They solve machining challenges, optimize processes, and take ownership of every setup.

  • Machine specialty and exotic materials while maintaining tight tolerances
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Programmers, and Production teams to ensure quality and efficiency
