Project Engineer - Chemical Process Engineering

Project Engineer (Process Design, Installation & Fabrication solutions) A new vacancy for leading provider of engineering design and installation solutions for UK/international customers in Process industries such as CHEMICALS, WATER TREATMENT, BIO-PHARMACEUTICAL, FOOD & BEVERAGE and DAIRY production.

As a Project Engineer, you will:

Design process flow diagrams, defining instrumentation and control requirements.<br />Source and procure fluid handling equipment and materials for plant construction.<br />Supervise workshop-based plant construction and liaise with workshop personnel.<br />Manage projects from inception to final acceptance, including design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning-often on-site with customers.<br />Conduct risk assessments and safety-related studies.<br />Collaborate with customers throughout project progress.<br />Prepare cost estimates for sales quotations, including calculations involving fluid/thermo dynamics.<br />Conduct pilot plant trials both at our South Wales facility and on customer sites.<br />Prepare detailed trial reports.<br />Travel regularly within the UK and occasionally overseas.<br />A valid driving license is required.We are looking for a motivated engineer with:

A degree (or equivalent) in an engineering or scientific discipline.<br />Experience in process manufacturing and involvement in designing and specifying process equipment.<br />Knowledge of thermo/fluid dynamics, instrumentation, and control (preferred).<br />Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.<br />Strong documentation, administrative, and organizational skills.<br />Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.<br />Project Management experience.<br />Immediate start preferable
