Job Description

The Role Constellation is looking for a Head of Business Development to help scale our U.S. Government and enterprise business. This role is responsible for defining our multi-year growth strategy, capturing high-value programs, and building a durable, repeatable revenue engine for our predictive space network software.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Constellation’s multi-year strategy across DoD, USSF, SDA, NASA, and enterprise constellation operators.

  • Lead end-to-end capture for high-value programs, from early shaping through contract award.

  • Navigate government acquisition pathways (OTAs, SBIR/STTRs, BAAs, FAR-based contracts) and structure strategic teaming agreements.

  • Translate government and commercial demand signals into product and roadmap priorities alongside the engineering team.

  • Establish repeatable capture processes, pipeline discipline, and forecasting rigor to build a scalable business unit.

Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in government BD, capture, or complex enterprise software sales.

  • Proven track record owning and winning high-value programs and navigating federal acquisition environments.

  • Strong technical literacy with the ability to articulate distributed systems and network orchestration to technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.
