AI Governance & Privacy Project Manager

AI GOVERNANCE &amp; PRIVACY PROJECT MANAGER<br />Initial 6mth contract with scope to extend - Pro rata salary £90k PA (Sponsorship is Unavailable)<br />Start date - ASAP. This role will primarily focus on building out our AI governance program and supporting the global privacy and data protection programme.

Support the AI compliance program, with a focus on maintaining data and AI inventories and maps to ensure compliance with applicable AI laws and regulations.<br />Perform other tasks related to supporting data governance and AI compliance programs as reasonably required<br />Collaborate with different business teams to enhance the data retention and destruction program<br />Promote adoption of privacy and data governance best practices through training and education initiatives<br />Foster a culture of data responsibility and compliance by promoting data literacy and awareness across all levels of the organisation<br />Champion innovation in data governance by identifying and implementing cutting-edge solutions to address emerging enterprise-level data challengesReporting &amp; Stakeholder Engagement Report to the Global Privacy and Data Protection Director (London-based)<br />Work closely with Global Privacy and Risk Management teams, including:

Operational Risk<br />Ethics and Compliance<br />Contract Risk<br />Engage with regional business stakeholders, including: Regional Managing Directors<br />Regional Boards<br />Regional Risk Management representatives<br />Collaborate with central services teams:

Finance<br />HR<br />IT<br />Liaise with other risk roles outside Risk Management (e.g. SOX monitoring teams)<br />Interface with external advisors such as lawyers, insurance brokers, and the wider Risk, Ethics and Compliance teamQualifications &amp; Experience AI and Data Governance Expertise:

Strong understanding of AI, data architectures, governance frameworks, data warehousing, data integrity, and stewardship practices<br />Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI, data protection, privacy, and data governance regulatory requirements<br />Experience:

Privacy and project management experience<br />Professional background preferred (e.g. legal, finance, audit)<br />Risk Evaluation: Ability to assess risks, articulate issues, build consensus, and implement effective solutions<br />Education &amp; Background:

Bachelor's degree preferred<br />5-8 years of relevant experience in privacy, data governance, data quality management, electronic information systems, and/or compliance in a multinational organisation.<br />Certifications (desirable):
