Your New Company

Our client is a well-established project management and engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure and construction projects across the UK. Due to continued growth within their aviation division, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support a diverse portfolio of capital works at Glasgow Airport.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical infrastructure projects within a live operational airport environment, helping to shape and improve key assets that support the movement of millions of passengers each year.

Your New Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of aviation and infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with airport stakeholders, contractors, designers and operational teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Projects will typically range in value from 50,000 to 15 million and may include:

  • Runway and taxiway resurfacing projects
  • Airfield infrastructure upgrades
  • Terminal refurbishment and fit-out schemes
  • Air handling and mechanical services improvements
  • Utilities, drainage and civil engineering works
  • Asset replacement programmes
  • Passenger experience and operational enhancement projects

This role offers exposure to a broad range of technically challenging schemes, requiring strong stakeholder management and an ability to deliver projects within a highly regulated operational environment.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience managing construction, infrastructure, building services or civil engineering projects
  • Strong project management skills across the full project lifecycle
  • Experience delivering projects from 50k to multi-million-pound values
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts and project governance processes
  • Experience within aviation, transportation, infrastructure, utilities or other operationally critical environments would be advantageous.
  • A relevant degree or qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related discipline
  • Chartered status or progression towards chartership would be beneficial.
  • Full UK driving licence

What You'll Get in Return

In return, you'll join a respected consultancy with a significant presence in the aviation sector and the opportunity to work on landmark airport infrastructure projects.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • Opportunity to work on projects valued between 50k and 15m
  • Long-term career progression and professional development
  • Support towards chartership and further qualifications
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Exposure to high-profile aviation and infrastructure schemes
  • Flexible working arrangements where operational requirements allow
